Rathyatra, the festival of chariots was this Sunday. As always there was a huge crowd of both divotees and curious tourists in Venice Beach, Ca. The Hare Krishnas take over Main Street with kirtans and free vegetarian food to celebrate Lord Jagannath. Want to learn more? I got some photos of the chariots, my Grandmother in the blue on Jagannath's chariot, some christians being ignorant of other religions, my cousin who never smiles for photos actually smiling, and some yummy fresh coconut!
